The spread of sexual allegations in Hollywood may be extending to Prince Phillip, of the classic tale Sleeping Beauty.

One English mother wants to put the hero of the children's literary staple alongside Matt Lauer, Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey as a predator that gave an unconsenting kiss to the unconscious princess.

During an interview with the Newcastle Chronicle, mother Sarah Hall said that she was disturbed by the actions of Prince Phillip in the movie. Since Aurora was unconscious, there's no way she could have been okay with the action. If you remember the Disney film, or the classic storybook, you'll recall that Phillip only kissed Aurora because that was the only way to wake her up from her eternal sleeping curse.

Hall contacted her son's primary school in Newcastle and asked for any books about the story to be removed from his classroom. She claimed that the story was no longer relevant in modern times and that it was merely adding to the toxic sexual environment we have found ourselves in.

While Hall doesn't want the story in schools, she doesn't totally agree with taking it off of shelves permanently.

"My son is only six years old and he absorbs everything he sees, and it isn't as if he can turn it into a constructive conversation," Hall said. "I don't think taking Sleeping Beauty books out of circulation completely would be right. I actually think it would be a great resource for older children, you could have a conversation around it, you could talk about consent, and how the Princess might feel."

This thought does present a bit of a conundrum with the fairy tale. If Phillip kisses Aurora, according to Hall's sentiment, he is sexually assaulting her. However, if he doesn't kiss her, she dies.

So much for happy endings.
