87 New Images From Dawn of the Justice League's Wonder Woman Movie Footage

Tonight on The CW, Dawn of the Justice League debuted the first official footage from Patty Jenkins's Wonder Woman movie, along with interviews with Jenkins and the film's stars, Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.

"We're going to see her coming of age -- the entire history," Gadot said. "What's her mission?"

DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer said that Diana goes on a journey into man's world because she disagrees with the other Amazons as to whether it's worth saving.

"The greatest thing about Wonder Woman is how good and kind and loving she is, yet none of that negates any of her power," said Jenkins.

The film stars Gal Gadot in the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman and Chris Pine as Captain Steve Trevor. It also stars Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis. Wonder Woman is being directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster, AMC's The Killing).

Wonder Woman feature film is set to open in 2017.
