Ali Larter Returning For Final Chapter Of Resident Evil

Heroes and Final Destination actress Ali Larter is returning for the sixth installment in the Resident Evil franchise.

According to Deadline, the 39-year-old actress will reprise her 'Claire Redfield' role for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which is being directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich as Alice.

Larter made her debut as Redfield in 2007's Resident Evil: Extinction and returned for 2010's Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will see characters Alice, Jill, Claire, Leon, Chris, Claire, and more infiltrate the Hive, where they must stop the Red Queen from destroying the entire human race. Paul Anderson will return to direct the film, and Wentworth Miller will reprise his role as Chris Redfield. The sixth installment in the Resident Evil film franchise, The Final Chapter is rumored to also be the last (given the title, that shouldn't be too surprising).

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter hits theaters on September 2nd, 2016.
