Amazing Spider-Man Gets an Honest Trailer

The folks behind the Honest Trailers Internet humor series have taken aim at The Amazing Spider-Man, due out on video a week from today and available to download from iTunes now. "This summer, witness yet another Spider-Man origin story...just so Sony can retain the rights to the character!" declares the ad, and then launches into over three-minutes of trailer mockery. Says the YouTube description, "With great power ... comes endless rebooting of rehashed material. Introducing the highly demanded honest trailer to the movie that absolutely no one demanded." In fairness, we quite liked this movie. Doesn't make the jokes any less funny.
