Ant-Man Release Date Moved Up

Marvel Studios has just announced that they are moving up the release date for Ant-Man. The film was originally scheduled to be released on November 6, 2015, but the new release date is now July 31, 2015. No reason was given for the release date change, but the move will certainly result in plenty of speculation. The most obvious reason is likely that Marvel Studios probably wants to avoid going up against Bond 24, which was also scheduled for a November 6, 2015 release date. Another likely reason for the change is that Marvel Studios might want to get Ant-Man into summer when kids are out of school. Of course, our favorite piece of speculation is that Marvel Studios might be trying to slip a third movie into 2015, so they moved up Ant-Man to make room for another movie in late 2015.
