Stephen Amell, star of The CW's Arrow, has had a meeting about starring in the forthcoming film adaptation of the runaway bestseller 50 Shades of Grey, the actor confirmed in a video on his Facebook page. "I get questions about Christian Grey all the time," Amell said in the video, embedded below. "That project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it...A long way off. I mean, not that long, but not close. I wouldn't call it long, but I wouldn't call it close." Fifty Shades of Grey is a 2011 erotic romance novel by British author E. L. James. It is the first instalment in the Fifty Shades trilogy that traces the deepening relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young business magnate, Christian Grey. It is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes featuring elements of sexual practices involving bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, and sadism/masochism (BDSM).
