On Monday, Robert Downey Jr. teased that there would be a big Avengers announcement on Good Morning America on Tuesday. There were four puzzle clues dropped by Robert Downey Jr. himself, Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel, and Marvel on social media. As many predicted based on the puzzle clues, the announcement this morning wound up being about Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The Avengers will assemble on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 13, 2015. Then, they will appear again on Good Morning America on April 24, 2015. It's all part of the build-up and promotional effort leading in to the Avengers: Age of Ultron release on May 1, 2015.

When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron (James Spader), a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they encounter two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.
