Captain America: The Winter Soldier Wraps For Georges St-Pierre

Georges St-Pierre, the UFC star set to portray Batroc the Leaper in the forthcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, has already wrapped production on that film, he told Fuel TV. "I'm done filming, I was there for a week. It was a lot of fun I made a lot of new friends," St-Pierre said in an interview (embedded below). "My character is a French mercenary, speaks French, a martial arts expert of Savate, Olympic lifting champion. A little bit like a guy who can jump really high and stuff. The character fit me well. My new look was for the Captain Americamovie, I just molded it a bit different than my character was a week ago. [During filming] it looked much more sinister." While it might seem as though a week on set isn't enough to play a major role in the story, it's worth remembering that Gwyneth Paltrow's scenes for The Avengers were shot in less time than that, so if Batroc were used in a smaller role, he could still have filmed 10 or 15 minutes of screen time during the week.
