Original Star Wars cast

While Disney has yet to officially announce that the original cast is returning for Star Wars Episode VII, Carrie Fisher has seemingly confirmed that she, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill are indeed returning. Buried in a new article from TV Guide about upcoming guest appearances by Carrie Fisher on FXX's Legit and CBS' The Big Bang Theory is a much bigger story. According to TV Guide, Fisher told them, "she, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill are expected to report to work in March or April." Fisher is quoted as saying, "I'd like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again — but with white hair. I think that would be funny." This is not the first time that Fisher has seemingly confirmed her involvement in Star Wars Episode VII to the press. Back in March of last year, Fisher said "yes" to Palm Beach Illustrated when asked if she would be reprising her role as Princess Leia. Fisher also told a crowd at Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo that Disney had sent a trainer to help her get in shape for the new movie. However, a rep for Fisher later claimed Fisher was only joking in both instances. So is the latest confirmation by Fisher just another joke? On another note, Mark Hamill is scheduled to do a Reddit AMA on January 22, 2014. It's an unusual move given that he will undoubtedly be asked numerous questions about Star Wars Episode VII. Back in September of last year, Comicbook.com reported on Hamill's friend Robert Englund saying Hamill was in training for Star Wars Episode VII. Could it be that an official announcement about the original cast is coming soon from Disney?
