Chris Pine Can't Answer If Lynda Carter Will Cameo In Wonder Woman

During a recent interview, Wonder Woman leading man Chris Pine couldn't -- and wouldn't, even if he could -- say whether Wonder Woman TV star Lynda Carter would appear in the forthcoming Wonder Woman.

"If I could tell you that I wouldn't, but I can't," Pine told E! Online.

Since she's so closely tied to the character, it might seem like a no-brainer, but the grounded world of DC Entertainment's movies doesn't lend itself to the kind of wink-and-a-nod thing that, say, Bryan Singer's Superman Returns or the current Supergirl TV series tend to do.

Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Connie Nielsen, and Lucy Davis. The film will be directed by Patty Jenkins from a screenplay by Jason Fuchs.

The film is due in theaters on June 23, 2017.
