SPECTRE villain Christoph Waltz could come back for more James Bond -- but only if current franchise lead Daniel Craig sticks around.

Since SPECTRE went into production, there's been a lot of talk about whether Craig would be back for more Bond -- and it appears as though that's still officially undecided, but the studio is at least planning for the possibility.

"Christoph could make a brilliant ongoing man for Bond to battle like in the old days," a source told the Daily Star. "But the important clincher of it is that Blofeld can only work with Daniel back in the role to keep continuity."

For Craig's part, he's been uncertain. At some points, it's been reported that he will do Bond as long as they want him, and at other times he's said he'd rather slash his wrists.

Some reports have claimed that Craig is already under contract for at least one more movie, while others have said there's already a shortlist of names to replace him. All reports indicate that the studio is happy with Craig's take on the iconic character, though, and that it would be up to him to return or not.

A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
