Sunn Classic Pictures is pushing ahead with a remake of Stephen King's Cujo movie, with producer/director Lang Elliott at the helm.
The film is being retitled C.U.J.O., which stands for "Canine Unit Join Operations." That's certainly a departure from the source material and the original film adaptation, which simply followed a large St. Bernard who contracted rabies and terrorizes a small town. Possibly a tie to the military, or a police force of some kind?
DJ Perry (Ashes of Eden) has signed on to star in the film, which already has a completed screenplay.
