Daredevil Hallway

One of Daredevil's defining moments as a series came in its second episode. The stunt coordinators, camera crew, directors and cast masterfully pulled off an impressive and brutal fight continuous shot fight scene stretching down a narrow hallway.

The highly anticipated second season will not only raise the stakes with its fight scenes but will also pay homage to the epic scene from its first season. "In terms of this season, there are a number of really good fights," Daredevil star Charlie Cox told a group of reporters at a TCA press event. "There is one in particular that I'm really excited about because it's kind of like an homage to that scene, but it's almost like that scene on crack."

With the second season comes with a pair or new character audiences are hungry to catch a glimpse of: Elodie Yung's Elektra and Jon Bernthal's The Punisher. They'll only fuel the fight scene fire according to Bernthal. "I think once you introduce a character like Frank Castle, once you introduce a character like Elektra, the stakes are raised a little bit in terms of the fighting," Bernthal said. "All of the sudden you're talking about weapons. Different questions are being brought up. I think what is the genius of Phil Silvera, the fight coordinator and stunt coordinator who choreographs these fights, is the fights are all character-driven and the fights tell a story. It's not just to look pretty or to look cool."

Daredevil's second season premieres March 18 on Netflix.
