DC Comics Villains Documentary Necessary Evil: First Clip Released

Just days after the release of a PBS documentary on the history of superheroes, DC Entertainment and Warner Home Entertainment will release Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics on Friday, and the studio have released the first clip today. Featuring Richard Donner, Guillermo del Toro, Zack Snyder, Geoff Johns, Dan DiDio, Jim Lee, Kevin Shinick and many more filmmakers, fans and comics professionals, the film explores the thin line between right and wrong, the nature of evil and how super-villains can reflect society's dark side as well as our own personal fears.  It also offers keen insight as to the reasons why comic book fans are so fascinated by the very characters they hope to see defeated. Below, check out a clip that features director Guillermo Del Toro, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Office Geoff Johns and renowned writers James Robinson and Paul Dini discussing the mirroring of a hero's characteristics in his fiercest villains.
