At the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, Frozen won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film. Other nominees in the category included The Croods and Despicable Me 2. Frozen directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee appeared on the stage to accept the award. Lee thanked the Hollywood Foreign Press, producer Peter Del Vecho, the amazing songwriters, the artists at Disney Animation, and the cast. Buck added, "And we want to thank all of the fans who have taken Frozen into their hearts." In Frozen, A prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction. Frozen has made over $317 million at the U.S. box office and is the fourth highest grossing film released in 2013.
