Grant Gustin Fully Supports Ezra Miller As Barry Allen In The Flash Movie

Actor Grant Gustin's voice can be heard each week on The CW's The Flash definitively stating, "My name is Barry Allen..." but the actor is supportive of others getting a chance at the red threads and super speed.

"I fully support Ezra Miller as Barry Allen and the Flash on the feature side of DC," he wrote in an extended twitter post (using the old "write it in Notes and post a picture" trick).

So why did he have to come out and say such a thing anyway? Well, people on the internet were writing that he thought he should be the movie flash. He liked a few tweets from fans saying "they would've enjoyed seeing me in the movie." He specifically avoided anyone who was "bashing Ezra," as well.

"Would i have liked to play Barry Allen in a film? Sure. I love this character and it has changed my life and making movies and tv is something I hope to be fortunate enough to do for the rest of my life," he wrote.

So there you have it - yes, of course he'd like to be Barry in every incarnation, no he doesn't hold any animosity over it. "Stop putting words in my mouth," he started, "Everyone chill and be nice," he concluded. That sums things up nicely.
