Joseph Gordon-Levitt Being Eyed for Guardians of the Galaxy Lead?

standout Joseph Gordon-Levitt is among those being considered for the role of Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Marvel Studios' upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy feature film, Deadline reports. The site had previously reported that Marvel had auditioned Jack Huston, Jim Sturgess, Lee Pace and Eddie Redmayne for the role. Some of the actors have confirmed doing reads for the part. Recently, it was suggested that the eight-person shortlist had been narrowed to two, with Thor: The Dark World star Zachary Levi as the frontrunner, but director James Gunn poo-pooed those rumors almost immediately. For Levitt's part, he's been rumored recently to appear in Justice League as Batman, albeit likely not reprising his role as John Blake, who became Batman at the end of the Christopher Nolan-directed Dark Knight Trilogy. His representatives denied that rumor, as well.
