Kevin Smith Reveals The Mall Where Mallrats 2 Will Be Filmed

The 1995 cult-classic Mallrats was filmed Eden Prairie Center mall in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, but for the sequel, MallBrats, filmmaker Kevin Smith is headed to the Keystone State.

"We found our MALL, y'all!" Smith posted on his official Facebook page. "This January, the @extonsquaremall in Exton, PA will star in #Mallrats 2! @jayandsilentbob are coming to Chester County! Big thanks to financiers StarStream, who found the mall & the money! They're making this #MR2 dream come true!"

Smith had been scouting several malls around the country and at one point it looked as though Delaware County's Granit Run Mall would end up as the coveted shooting location.
