Kevin Smith's Yoga Hosers Movie Gets A Comic Book Prequel

Dynamite Entertainment will publish Yoga Hosers movie prequel comic from filmmaker Kevin Smith, THR reports.

They've also got a preview of the art over there; they say the comic will be available when the film debuts at Sundance on Sunday.

Yoga Hosers stars Smith's daughter Harley Quinn Smith and Johnny Depp's daughter Lily Rose Depp as Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie, roles they originated in Smith's 2014 horror comedy Tusk. The comic, with art by Jeff Quigley, tells the story of the first meeting between the two Colleens.

"The relationship we have with Kevin is incredibly rewarding," CEO and Publisher Nick Barrucci said. "His talent brings fans to the industry, and when he asked if we would be a part of this event, of course we said yes!"

The comic book prequel will be exclusively available at the movie's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival Sunday, January 24, although knowing Smith, it will turn up in a special signed edition online once the movie is on Blu-ray.
