Over at Bleeding Cool, they're running with a story--now picked up by a number of other outlets--that details an action sequence ostensibly set to take place during Zack Snyder's Superman reboot Man of Steel. According to the story, Snyder's more realistic and somewhat brutal action style will peek through in the film, which will at one point see "Superman breaks apart a building and uses the building itself as a weapon in some kind of 'super martial art' fashion. 'Girders as throwing stars' was the specific example I was given." Their source is anonymous, but reportedly someone they checked out a bit and were satisfied was a credible one. Fans at San Diego Comic-Con International got their first look at Man of Steel during the Warner Brothers/Legendary Pictures panel on Saturday at Hall H. Everybody else will get a taste this week, with the teaser shown at Comic-Con reportedly appearing before screenings of The Dark Knight Rises, which opens Friday.
