Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Back in the summer of 2012, the big talk among comic book movie fans was the showdown between The Avengers and the Dark Knight Rises. Even though the two films were released months apart, Marvel fans and DC Comics fans endlessly debated which film would make more at the box office during the summer. Ultimately, The Avengers won that showdown. Now, fans are buzzing about another showdown between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Batman Vs. Superman in the summer of 2015. However, according to Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige there's no showdown. In an interview with Fandango, Feige said, "Ya know, I think there's something like seven weeks between them, which in moviegoing is really a lifetime. So I don't think it's really a showdown of any kind." When Fandango pushed Feige for his thoughts on Batman Vs. Superman, he simply said, "I'm excited to see it." While Feige might not think there's a showdown because Avengers: Age Of Ultron will likely be winding down at the box office when Batman Vs. Superman gets released, only one of the two movies can ultimately gross more money, so for fans there's definitely a box office showdown. Avengers: Age Of Ultron is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 1, 2015. Batman Vs. Superman is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on July 17, 2015.
