New Avengers Trailer Goes Live

Just a day after debuting a new poster for May's upcoming film adaptation of The Avengers, adapted by Joss Whedon, Marvel has dropped a new trailer. Available in iTunes and Youtube, you can view it right here in the box below. Just for fun, we're also including a second version of the trailer, first seen on Bleeding Cool and intended for the British market. Marvel announced yesterday that The Avengers will be retitled Avengers Assemble in the UK to differentiate it from the popular BBC television series. It seems an appropriate title for this trailer, which focuses on the individual characters and brings them together throughout the ad, as opposed to previous trailers which had jumped right into the action. We get to see a lot more Hulk and Black Widow as a result, as well as more of a sense of the dynamics of the team and its combat style.
