British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has officially classified and approved a new Suicide Squad trailer.

The new Suicide Squad trailer clocks in at two-minutes and fifty-nine seconds. That's eight-seconds shorter than the Comic-Con trailer that Warner Bros. was compelled to release to the public once a poor-quality bootleg surfaced online shortly after it debuted in San Diego.

The trailer is rated 15 and it "passed uncut."

The timing of this classification suggests that the trailer could be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This comes as a bit of a surprise since it was just last month that producer Charles Roven told Collider that a new Suicide Squad trailer would not be released this year. As The Dark Knight said to The Penguin in Batman Returns: "Things Change."

Directed and written by David Ayer (Fury) and features an all-star cast: Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez, and Karen Fukahara.

Suicide Squad is set to be released August 5, 2016.
