Last time we saw Frank Grillo's Brock Rumlow (aka Crossbones) in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, he was being carted off in an ambulance with severe burns to his face and body from when the Helicarrier came crashing into the Triskelion as he was battling Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie). He'll be back for Captain America: Civil War with a super-suit, which was spotted in the newly-released trailer.

In a recent interview, Grillo spoke of what motivates Crossbones in the upcoming film and how determined he is to get revenge against Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans).

"Well that's a great question and obviously if you've seen The Winter Soldier, Brock Rumlow was in bad shape and that was because of Cap and he's not happy," Grillo told The Huffington Post (via Geek Tyrant). "I tell you, coming back as Crossbones, his alter ego, he is not a happy guy and there's nothing that is going to get in the way of him doing what hes setting out to do. Which I can not tell."

Marvel's Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel's Captain America: Civil War opens in U.S. theaters on May.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016.
