Spencer's Running Deadpool Movie Promotions

Retailer Spencer's is launching a month-long campaign to promote the forthcoming Deadpool movie in their stores.

Among other things, fans coming into the store between February 5 and February 7 can pick up a collectible Deadpool movie Valentine.

From now until January 18, guests who buy $25 worth of Deadpool merchandise will receive a free, Official Deadpool movie poster, while supplies last; fans also have an opportunity to win a trip to New Orleans to film their own antihero movie produced by Spencer's (keep an eye out on Spencer's Instagram account for details).

As for the Valentines? Here's what Spencer's has to say about them: "As you can imagine, they're written in [Deadpool's] style and so pretty hilarious."

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
