Josh Wilding of HeyUGuys and others chatted with Tom Holland recently, and managed to get a little bit out of him on his role as Spider-Man in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War and his own solo film.

The young actor said he actually got hurt "just before [his] last shot" on Civil War in an accident on set.

"It was my own mistake. I basically fell over and bashed my face in front of about two hundred crew members, so not my most heroic moment!" Holland said with a smile. "I was getting into position, everything went wrong, and they still did the take anyway."

The actor said, "it's impossible not to" take inspiration from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's takes on Spider-Man. "They were so great, and such real and rich performances, there were obviously factors that I love and will try to recreate. But I think the most important thing of the moment is to make a film that's obviously of the same character, but try to make a different, and new and exciting movie."

Holland debuts as the new Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War on May 6, 2016. He'll then go on to star in a Sony Pictures as-yet-untitled Spider-Man solo movie that takes place within, and potentially shares characters with, the MCU.
