Star Wars Episode VII

The Star Wars Episode VII rumor mill is working again. A new rumor suggests that the title, or at least working title, of the film is The Ancient Fear. The rumor is being reported by Ain't It Cool News, whose sources says that the title refers to Max von Sydow's character, the villain of the film. We know that Alex Driver is also playing a villain in Episode VII. "Fear" is considered to be one of the primary motivators of the Dark Side of the Force. If this rumor is true, it's possible that Sydow will be playing a Sith Lord (like the Emperor), with Driver's character as his apprentice (like Darth Vader). As for the "Ancient" part, perhaps that means that the film will explore the origins of the Sith with Sydow's character being an older Sith making his return, or perhaps just tapping into some ancient Sith power. Star Wars: Episode VII comes to theaters December 18. 2015.
