Ride Along 2 took the box office crown this weekend, finally unseating Star Wars: The Force Awakens in its fifth week of release.

Star Wars actually dropped from first to third, with The Revenant getting a bump from all those Oscar nominations and taking in $29 million to Star Wars's $25 million, according to studio estimates. Ride Along 2 brought home $34 million.

Of course, Star Wars hasn't been decreasing week over week at the same rate as most movies, so it's entirely plausible it could top one or both of these films next week, when they likely drop 50% or so and Star Wars drops 40% or less, as has been its pattern. But we'll see: the film is starting to finally lose screens now, and next week also sees wide release for The 5th Wave, a sci-fi movie advertised ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in many theaters.

Roundint out the top five this weekend were Michael Bay's new release 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, and holdover Daddy's Home.
