As expected, Star Wars: The Force Awakens had a strong enough Monday at the worldwide box office to pass two more movies and take on another milestone. With $14.5 million at international theaters, the movie comes to a new total of $786.1 million overseas and $1.536 billion in global gross.

That passes Furious 7 and Marvel's The Avengers on the all-time worldwide box office list, putting The Force Awakens firmly in fourth place all-time by about 17 million dollars.

Next up is Jurassic World at $1.669 billion, a mark it will likely take weekend four to reach for Star Wars. Jurassic World achieved that total in 23 weekends in theaters, and Star Wars only has three so far.

The $14.5 million overseas outpaced the $8 million Monday domestically for the first non-Holiday week of the film's span, and puts the international market above the domestic total by about $36 million. The international gross should see a significant boost this weekend, when the film opens in China, the world's second-largest movie market.
