Star Wars Weekends At Walt Disney World Dates Announced For 2013

Disney has finally announced the dates for Star War Weekends at Walt Disney World in 2013. While there had been rampant speculation that Disney might expand the number of weekends this year because of the Lucasfilm acquisition, it turns out the Star Wars Weekends will still only run for four weekends in May and June. According to Disney, the Star Wars Weekends will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 17 to June 9, 2013 at Disney's Hollywood Studios sector. James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein will return as celebrity hosts for Star Wars Weekends 2013. James Arnold Taylor is the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and  Ashley Eckstein is the voice of Anakin's ambitious Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, on Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Besides the celebrity hosts, no other official details about Star Wars Weekends 2013 have been announced, so there is still the possibility that the Lucasfilm acquisition could result in some additional activities and events for the weekend.
