Star Was: The Force Awakens: Five Questions Raised
Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker exiled himself to the First Temple of the Jedi after failing his good friend, Han Solo, and sister, Leia, when their son whom he was training betrayed them for the Dark Side.
He exiled himself out of guilt is the way The Force Awakens seems to say it, but why? What is exiling yourself, the last Jedi, going to do to fix this problem? Why would Luke run from Kylo Ren when he is most likely the best chance at stopping him? He looked very troubled, but there's no chance he is considering the Dark Side himself, right?
Perhaps Luke knows of Rey and her ability to use the Force, so he exiled himself as a new form a teaching/training for her benefit while also strengthening himself at the Temple. Perhaps she is even his daughter.
prevnextRey's Parents

It sure does look like Luke is Rey's dad. She is no doubt a Jedi filled with good intentions but why did Luke drop her off on Jakku without coming back for years?
Is this training for her as mentioned earlier? Did Luke banish himself into exile after being betrayed by Ben Solo and leave his daughter behind in hopes of her having a normal life?
Or - is Luke Skywalker not related to Rey, at all? Han Solo did seem genuinely surprised to meet her and if Luke had a daughter, Han and Leia would probably know about it. Then again, Maz did seem to know a good bit about Rey, so maybe Han and Leia were playing along with a request from Luke for Rey's protection.
prevnextFinn's Story

Finn is admittedly not with the Resistance. He's not a Stormtrooper (anymore) and he's a good guy.
But what is the rest of Finn's story?
Who are the parents he was ripped from?
How was he able to resist The First Order's training and commands unlike his fellow Stormtroopers who went through all of that, as well?
And while we're at it, what is Poe's story, too?
prevnextHan's Fate

While Han is most certainly dead following light saber impalement and seemingly infinite fall, a body is always needed in movies these days to remove doubt.
It's probably just a state of denial and hoping against all odds that we'll get to see Luke and Han together on screen, once again, but is Han actually dead?
It would seem so, with the aforementioned circumstances, the Force hitting Leia in that moment, and the entire planet exploding without Han escaping, but still, is he really gone?
prevnextThe New Big Three

Aside from the questions regarding their back stories, we really want to know what is next for this new big three of the Star Wars franchise.
Rey, Finn, and Poe are all very interesting characters and at the moment, they're all spread out across the galaxy. Rey has just found (possibly her father) Luke Skywalker. Finn is recovering from his battle with Kylo Ren which may have damaged his entire spine with a slice up his back. Poe is nearby, though, ready to fight the good fight with General Leia Organa and the Resistance.
What is next for these three? How will they band together to lead the fight against Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader, Snoke?
