Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Will NOT Be Aliens

Here's some good news about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Contradicting an earlier statement he made that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be turned into aliens in their new movie, Michael Bay now says that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will not be aliens. In an interview with MovieFone, Michael Bay said, "There was that quote saying that we're making [the Ninja Turtles as] aliens. We're not. It's the ooze! It's from the original source material. These are from the original writers, and I never went out to correct myself in the press. I do listen to the fans and I do want this to be authentic. I think they're going to be really happy with this movie. When I see the digital stuff, the turtles look great." While Michael Bay didn't clarify what the title of the reboot would be, his statement that they will not be aliens seems to support an earlier report that the title has been changed from Ninja Turtles to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Comicbook.com reached out to Paramount over a week ago for clarification on what the reboot title would be, but we have received no response.
