Talk about "kissing cousins" -- Adrianne Palicki, who played Wonder Woman in the aborted David E. Kelley television series, said in an interview this week that she'd like to play Supergirl. In an interview with The Onion's A.V. Club, Palicki expressed an interest in playing another superhero after her ill-fated attempt at bringing the Amazing Amazon to the small screen. Her picks? Supergirl, or Rogue from the X-Men. "I would love to play Wonder Woman on the big screen," said Palicki, who also starred in the Mercy Reef (Aquaman) pilot that never got picked up. "And if not, Supergirl. I know it's not the coolest character, but I fell in love with her. My brother is a comic-book writer, and I was always in love with comics. My brother would always be reading all these comics with these dudes, and I was this little blonde, mousy-looking child, and I looked at this beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed chick, and I was like, 'I want to be her!' She was one of the very few that I found. Or Rogue. I'd really like to play Rogue." Rogue is a possibility, of course, but it would probably have to happen soon. The character, having appeared in the first three X-Men films, is a pretty obvious pick to pop up again in Days of Future Past, and there have been no rumblings that the already-busy Anna Paquin might return to reprise the role. Who wants to bet her brother's comics will get a good look from fans at this story makes the rounds this week?
