X-Men: Apocalypse Movie Announced For 2016

Even though X-Men: Days of Future Past hasn't even been released yet, Twentieth Century Fox must be feeling pretty good about the film that director Bryan Singer made. Just a couple minutes ago, Singer tweeted, "#Xmen #Apocalypse 2016!" While the announcement comes as somewhat of a surprise, there was earlier speculation that Apocalypse might be the villain in X-Men: Days or Future Past. With this latest announcement, it seems like X-men: Days of Future Past at least sets the stage for Apocalypse. After Singer's tweet, Twentieth Century Fox confirmed that X-men: Apocalypse will be released in movie theaters on May 27, 2016.
