X-Men: Days Of Future Past Storm Clip Released

A new clip from X-Men: Days of Future Past has been released online by 20th Century Fox. The clip focuses on Storm, a.k.a. Ororo Munroe. Halle Berry will be reprising the role of Storm, who she played in the original X-Men trilogy of films. In X-Men: Days of Future Past, Storm is in the future, trying to survive the Sentinels along with the other remaining members of the X-Men. In the original X-Men: Days of Future Past comic book story, by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, Storm suffers a dramatic death (as do most of the other future X-Men) on the end of a Sentinel's spear. One scene from this clip seems to be alluding to that death, as a Sentinel sneaks up behind Storm with its arm in the shape of a spear. Will the film, which takes a lot of liberties with the story, actually recreate that scene? In X-Men: Days of Future Past, the X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants. X-Men: Days of Future Past comes to theaters May 23.
