X-Men: Days Of Future Past's Omar Sy Featured In GQ
Omar Sy, who plays Bishop in X-Men: Days of Future Past, is being featuring in a six-page spread in the newest issue of GQ Magazine. American audiences may not know that Sy is the first black actor to win France's Caesar award for best actor, something GQ asked him about. "The most important thing for me will be the next time," says Sy. "I want people to get used to black actors winning the Cesar. I don't want to be the only one." GQ also asked Sy about his preparation for playing Bishop. "Oh man, I had to work out a little bit, too," he said. "I'm not a superhero." In X-Men: Days of Future Past, the X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants. X-Men: Days of Future Past comes to theaters May 23.
