Edward Douglas of ComingSoon.net wrote, "A good way to ruin the 'Die Hard' franchise. Terrible." We'll stop there, because most of the other reviews say essentially the same thing. Well, the film has a 98% want to see audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so it will likely have a good opening, regardless of what the critics say.
