Agents Of Shield Review

In advance of the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the first review for Agents Of S.H.E.I.L.D. has surfaced online. There are some minor spoilers in the review, but for the most part, the biggest mysteries of Agents Of S.H.E.I.L.D. are left unanswered. Assuming that the review is legitimate, it raises the question of if ABC might be planning to screen the Agents Of S.H.E.I.L.D. pilot episode during the Agents Of S.H.E.I.L.D. Comic-Con panel. According to Poptimal, "With a strong cast and smart script, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. delivers a smart, action-packed thrill ride." Poptimal gives the pilot a grade of 9 (out of 10 we're presuming). The review doesn't offer up any huge spoilers. In regards to J. August Richards' character, he is described as an unemployed, single father named Michael Peterson. As far as his superhero name, he is just referred to as the hooded hero. As far as the explanation about how Agent Coulson returns, the review doesn't give specifics. However, it is revealed that what Agent Coulson thinks is the truth may not be correct. The true answer is reportedly not revealed in the pilot episode. Even though Agent Coulson's return might still be a little bit of a mystery, it appears to be a good thing that he did return, as Poptimal describes him as "cool, collective, and witty." While overall, Poptimal gave a positive review, the site did note, "Witty dialogue deflates the brilliantly built tension in many scenes, which gets frustrating and leaves the viewer feeling vaguely let down." The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premiere will air on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 8 PM to 9 PM on ABC.
