Amazing Spider-Man 2's B.J. Novak To Guest Star on Community's Season Finale

B.J. Novak, who will appear as Alistair Smythe in the forthcoming, Marc Webb-directed sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, has signed on to appear in the two-part season (series?) finale of NBC's cult-hit sitcom Community. Novak, best known for his work on NBC's long-running hit Thursday comedy The Office, will make a cameo appearance in the first half of the finale. How exactly Novak's character is involved with the study group remains to be seen, but EW says he plays what's being described as "a TV star in a sexy new series." The first half of the finale is expected to air on NBC in April.
