We know that the core cast of heroes from the original Star Wars trilogy are returning for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but could another classic trilogy character be making an appearance as well?
A rumor being reported by Star Wars News Net suggests as much. The rumor comes from a foreign reader of the site who claims to know somebody involved with dubbing the film for international release.
Here's what they said:
I know someone who works in the ****** media (dubbing) who assured me that there was indeed a scene with Yoda in The Force Awakens.
If this is true, Yoda would likely be appearing in the form of a Force ghost, and is perhaps somehow aware of or involved with whatever seems to be keeping Luke Skywalker too busy to appear in the film's trailers.
Frank Oz reprised his role as the voice of Yoda for a Season 1 episode of Star Wars Rebels, and has said he'd like the chance to play the character again.
Check out when Star Wars: The Force Awakens and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
