Ant-Man & The Wasp Writers Hired

Marvel Studios has added screenwriters Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari (Die In A Gunfight) to the Ant-Man And The Wasp writing team, reports Deadline.

Barrer and Ferrari previously worked on the first Ant-Man script for six months, though, their work went un-credited. The writing duo also took part in the Transformers writers room that Paramount Pictures ans Hasbro put together this past summer to come up with material for future sequels and spinoffs.

Paul Rudd and Adam McKay -- the pair that worked on the Ant-Man script after Edgar Wright departed -- will work with Barrer and Ferrari on fleshing out Ant-Man And The Wasp story, and then Rudd, Barrer and Ferrari "will go off and write the script."

The sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp, will arrive in theaters July 6, 2018.
