In celebration of the introduction of the first Arab American Green Lantern, Simon Baz, DC Comics Chief Creative Officer and comic book writer Geoff Johns made an appearance at the Arab American National Museum (AANM) in Dearborn, MI on Saturday. At the event, Geoff Johns met with a group of youngsters and signed comic books. Geoff also led a creation of a super hero session with local kids and young teens where he highlighted the basics of comic book development. Then, the group created a super hero character together, complete with character background, a super villain and a sidekick. After meeting with the kids, Geoff Johns met with community members and comic book fans in the museum's theater. Geoff gave a presentation detailing his career and how he got into making comics.
