Archie Horror Launches With New Issues Of Afterlife With Archie & Sabrina

Building on the success of titles like Afterlife with Archie and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Archie Comics is launching the Archie Horror imprint, which those title will now call home.

With the announcement of the new imprint comes release date announcements for the next issues of both series. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #2, by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Robert Hack, will arrive in stores on April 15. Afterlife with Archie #8 -- an issue inspired by The Shining -- by Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Francesco Francavilla will go on sale May 6th.

Aguirre-Sacasa also teased a third series in development for the Archie Horror line and spoke about the positive fan response to both current series, saying, "[The Archie Horror books] have prompted the best work of our careers. To take these iconic characters and reimagine them and place them in situations they've never been in before—it's a blast, and I'm glad people are responding to it."
