Armor Hunters is Coming in X-O Manowar #23 Preview

Earlier today, Valiant Entertainment released an advance preview of March's X-O Manowar #23 - which kicks off the Prelude to Armor Hunters, a prologue to Valiant's big summer 2014 crossover event. From New York Times best-selling writer Robert Venditti and artist Diego Bernard, the march toward X-O Manowar's first epic confrontation with the galaxy's most feared team of hunter-killers, the Armor Hunters, kicks off on March 19th! For eons, one threat above all others has brought pain and strife down upon civilizations across the universe – the X-O Manowar armor. And now the Manowar has come to Earth. What will follow in its wake? Only the creature called Malgam knows the truth…and, in the wake of Unity, Aric of Dacia is about to be forced into a brutal confrontation with the deadly legacy behind the universe's most powerful weapon. The publisher also identifies the issue as "a key stepping stone toward Valiant's first milestone spectacular – X-O Manowar #25," which--based on the solicitation text below--seems to have either a fill-in team, a new creative team altogether or maybe it's a jam book featuring a number of teams. In any event, the solicitation certainly seems to suggest it's not just another issue for Robert Venditti and company. After the Prelude wraps up, the crossover itself then continues with two brand new story arcs beginning in Unity #8 and X-O Manowar #26 – and look for even more Valiant heroes to join the fight against Valiant's first full-scale alien incursion as the summer continues.
