Arrow Casts Peter Stormare As New Count Vertigo

Constantine villain Peter Stormare has been cast as Count Vertigo in The CW's Arrow.

...Wait, what?

Yes, Seth Gabel played The Count in Season One and Season Two and died in his most recent appearance. Stormare, apparently, will go by Vertigo (as opposed to Gable's "The Count") and TV Guide reports he will actually be Werner Zytle, Count Vertigo's name from the comics.

According to the report, Stormare will be the first adversary faced by Team Arrow in the Season Three premiere. 

"Werner is introduced as the new purveyor of the drug Vertigo, filling the role left vacant since the death of The Count," says TVG.

Arrow returns in October, airing Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
