Supernatural's Amy Gumenick will play Cupid on Arrow -- and that's no clever pun relating to yesterday's big "Olicity" news.

No, she'll play Carrie Cutter, the obsessed fan known as Cupid who makes it her mission to go after the women in Green Arrow's life. In the comics, of course, that meant Black Canary (especially since she was introduced during Arrow Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg's run on Green Arrow/Black Canary comics.

"I always loved the idea of Green Arrow having a crazed fan," Kreisberg told EW. "When I was writing the comic book, my big goal was to create a villain who would last. Cupid has since appeared in the DC Nation shorts on Cartoon Network, and to have her fight our TV Arrow is so much more than I ever could have hoped for the character."

Cupid to make her debut in the sixth and seventh episodes of the season. The eighth episode will be a crossover with The Flash and the ninth episode will be the midseason finale, directed by Percy Jackson veteran Thor Freudenthal.

The sixth episode, currently in production, will center largely around Felicity Smoak, which probably gives an idea as to just what Cupid might be after.
