Manu Bennett's Slade Wilson is back in action when Arrow returns for Blind Spot next week, the first of two episodes that have been described by series star Stephen Amell as Laurel-centric episodes. The CW have released a number of promotional photos, which you can see above and below, along with the official description of the episode. What seems particularly worth mentioning is that Laurel's being arrested here is likely not a one-off story beat just to set up a conflict between Oliver and Blood in this episode. Rather, next episode indicates Laurel will be disbarred (possibly what she's talking to District Attorney Donner about below), and that will likely have long-term ramifications. As her hair seems to be getting lighter and lighter, one almost has to wonder whether she could be in line to be the next Black Canary should something happen to her sister... ...and who's that woman Blood is harassing? Could she be key to his plans somehow? It seems a bit out of place, except that we know Laurel is now trying to take down the man she's been dating. ARROW TEAMS UP WITH LAUREL TO FIND THE MAN IN THE MASKOliver (Stephen Amell) is conflicted after Laurel (Katie Cassidy) reaches out to the Arrow asking him to investigate Sebastian Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). Oliver is unsure whether to believe her accusations against the man he has publicly supported for mayor, but decides to trust Laurel. However, when the pair gets too close to the truth, Sebastian exposes Laurel's drug addiction and has her arrested. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) reveals his new super-strength to Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) who wants to test out his abilities. Unfortunately, Roy isn't able to contain his rage once unleashed and almost kills a man. Back on the island, Oliver is surprised when Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) reveals a secret about Laurel. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz (#211).
