Arrow Season 3 Premiere Ratings Up Over Last Season Premiere

Arrow continues to win over audiences, pulling in its highest-rated season premiere yet.

According to TV By The Numbers' statistics, Arrow's Season 3 opener earned a 1.0 rating in the adults 18-49 category last night. This beat Arrow's second season premiere by a tenth, which earned 0.9. The episode, "Calm," also attracted 2.79 million live and same-day viewers, making it the fifth most-watched show in the 8:00 p.m. slot. That's a slight bump up from Arrow's Season 2 premiere results, which had 2.74 million viewers.

While The Flash's series premiere ran circles around Arrow with a .8 lead in the adults 18-49 category, last night's results showed that viewers still have a vested interest in the Emerald Archer.
