Arrow Season 4: Felicity Smoak's Mom Will Have Romantic Relationship With Someone On The Show

Love is in the air when Donna Smoak (Charlotte Ross) makes her return to Arrow this season.

Felicity's mother will make her Season 4 debut next week and Executive Producer Wendy Mericle says fan can expect a romance in her future. "We'll find out in future episodes that she's going to be having a romantic relationship with somebody on the show," Mericle told Entertainment Weekly. "It's going to be fun."

Mericle wouldn't share who the lucky gentleman will be, though, fans of the show have been shipping Donna and Capt. Lance (Paul Blackthorne) for quite some time, so that's the most logical guess. Blackthorne was asked about the possible pairing a few weeks ago. "To go from Dinah (Alex Kingston) to Donna is quite the contrast and not something that Lance would be expecting himself to react to, but of course, once that woman walks into the room, I think any man is going to have a reaction, notwithstanding Lance," he told EW. "It's an interesting combination, the two of them together, it's a bit of an odd pairing."

"Lost Souls" episode of Arrow will air Wednesday, November 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
