Stephen Amell, star of The CW's Arrow, has released a three-minute Arrow: The Movie trailer. No, there is not actually a feature film version being made; this is just a trailer that's cut together to show the scope of tomorrow's episode, "The Promise," which sees Oliver and Slade Wilson's conflict coming to a head in the present while he and Sara fight to keep Slade from learning the truth about Shado's death in the past -- an event they believe will turn him against them. Using mostly footage from "The Promise" but some previous episodes to give the trailer context, and a significant peek at next week's "Suicide Squad" episode, in which Waller seemingly sends Oliver after Deathstroke while the Squad goes on a Diggle-centric mission of their own.

Arrow

returns tomorrow night at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.

"This episode is the biggest episode we've ever done on the show. It makes the season finale last year look like a student film from the 1980s," Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim says in the video embedded below. "Our incredible stunt department went all out; our equally incredible production design department did an amazing job recreating the entire deck and bridge of the freighter just for this episode."

"This episode, apart from just being massive, features two iconic moments in the life of our series: it's the first time Oliver Queen puts on the green hood and it's the first time that we see Slade Wilson put on the Deathstroke mask," Guggenheim added. "This is the beginning of the relationship that will define the end of Season Two."
